Flag Football Playbook From Illegal Motion Released, Steve Smith Breaks Arm

What a day in the flag football world!  Illegal Motion releases the first full-on offensive system for 7 on 7 flag football, and Steve Smith breaks his arm playing flag football at a YMCA.

Steve Smith is notorious for stiff-arming defenders.  Unfortunately in flag football, such a move is frowned upon by the rule book, but that didn’t stop Smith from launching a safety 14 yards through the air and into the Powerade table, simultaneously shattering his own radius and ulna. (His what?)

Sometimes it’s hard to go against your instincts, right Steve?

Well for one, I don’t blame him at all… (Safety shoulda known better) for playing, anyway.  In the next few days, I’m sure we’ll hear debates about whether or not he should have been playing flag football, if it violates his contract, and on and on.  Flag football is a fun sport, and NFL players should be allowed to have fun during the offseason.  It’s just really unfortunate that he got injured.

NFL Star Falls, Flag Football Star is Born

Flag Football Playbook from Illegal MotionIn other news, countless hours of research and planning has finally come to fruition.  Today marks the launch of the Illegal Motion Flag Football Playbook!

This was a highly collaborative effort, and involved football players, coaches, 7 on 7 strategists, and a graphic designer or two. Special thanks to all who were involved, you know who you are.

The Goods

This is more than just a playbook.  It’s an actual offensive system designed specifically for flag football, and it works extraordinarily well. It includes proven passing concepts and an offensive scheme dedicated to getting the ball to the most dynamic players on your team.

Maybe the best thing about this playbook is the fact that it’s incredibly easy to learn and use.  It was designed specifically to be as easy as possible.

Let’s face facts — nobody gets excited about memorizing a bunch of plays.  Anybody who’s played a couple of seasons of flag football knows this.  You get a group of guys together, practice a couple of times, run around, maybe you even organize a scrimmage.  Everybody is having fun, but when it comes time to memorize plays, everybody groans.

Well this system requires absolutely no memorization. It’s truly unique, and there is nothing else like it available right now. Check it out here.

And Steve, good luck with your recovery.  If you happen to miss training camp, just know you’ve got a roster spot on my team.  Just throwing that out there.
